"Pakavs" Ltd  was grounded in 1989  on the basis of firm, existing since 1946, on production sliced veneer. It speaks about semi-secular traditions, on processing of timber. Not forgetting old traditions, the firm is permanently upgraded, renovating the equipment and methods of activity under the requirements applicable standards of quality. On firm more than 100 workers work, which are one is one of the best specialists in Latvia.

   The basic specialization of the "Pakavs" Ltd is production sliced veneer from different rocks of a tree.  The thickness sliced veneer is from 0.6 up to 3.0 mm. A volume of production 150000-200000 sq.m. per one month. The second direction of activity of the corporation - is  production of different saw-timbers from deciduous rocks of a tree. For production the corporation uses the high-performance equipment of the carrying on world producers.  In 1997 the corporation has entered a line on production parquet on the Swedish know-how.
